Azure as Platform as a Service

Azure, being a cloud-based technology, is accessed via the platform as a service (PaaS) model from remote servers using web-based interfaces. The support and cost issues associated with infrastructure and networking support required to implement these services in earlier client-server models are no longer factors that can interfere with business-driven projects and in-house technical staff's productivity under PaaS implementations.
